CE Kaizen ("we," "us," or "our") operates the website cekaizen.com, a platform helping Canadian dental professionals discover continuing education travel opportunities and estimate tax savings on CE expenses. We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy legislation.

Account information — When you create a free account, we collect your name, email address, title, profession, specialty, province, date of birth, and optionally your phone number and current CE credit count.
Trip interest submissions — When you express interest in a CE trip, we collect your name, email, province, phone number (optional), and any notes you choose to include.
Course provider submissions — If you submit a CE course listing, we collect your business name, contact name, email, and course details.
Usage data — We collect standard web analytics including pages visited, browser type, and approximate location (city/province level only). This data is collected in aggregate and is not linked to individual users.

We share information with the following service providers only to the extent necessary to deliver our service:
Supabase (Supabase Inc.) — Provides our authentication system and database. Your account data and trip submissions are stored on Supabase servers hosted in the United States. Supabase is SOC 2 Type II certified.
Resend (Resend Inc.) — Processes transactional and marketing emails on our behalf. Email addresses are shared with Resend solely to deliver messages you have requested or consented to receive.
Vercel (Vercel Inc.) — Hosts the CE Kaizen web application. Standard request logs (IP address, timestamp) may be retained for security purposes in accordance with Vercel's privacy policy.
All service providers are bound by data processing agreements and are prohibited from using your information for any purpose other than providing services to CE Kaizen.
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Trip interest submissions and course provider submissions are retained for up to 24 months for business record-keeping purposes.

You may withdraw consent at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any email or by emailing privacy@cekaizen.com. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of marketing sent before the withdrawal.
We never add you to marketing lists without your express opt-in, and we never share your email address with third-party marketers.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your personal information, including TLS encryption for data in transit and at-rest encryption provided by our database provider. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plaintext.
Despite these measures, no internet transmission is completely secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your CE Kaizen account.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
